Tevez Corinthians move collapses and we look at the Europa league challenging teams

Tevez moves to Corinthians has collapsed because Corinthians could not reach an agreement before july 20th for Tevez. The statement on Corinthians official website is  ''The board of Sporting Club Corinthians hereby officially announce the impossibility of hiring the Argentine striker Carlos Tevez. While acknowledging the efforts of Manchester city  and all involved in the negotiation, more time is needed for the transfer to be achieved, given that the window to sign players from abroad closes on Wednesday, July 20. So now some European teams such as real Madrid and Inter are keen for the nomadic striker which makes me wonder does he really miss home or does he just not like England.

Aston villa have money from the sales of young and downing and they NEED to reinvest it. They have already bought world class goalkeeper Shay Given from man city for 5 million which is really a good deal for villa but now they need to expand and buy a new attack left midfielder with Charles N Zogbia being the obvious choice and then go and buy some fresh young talent like Juan Manuel Fargras and i think that if villa reinvest the money correctly then they could be strong contenders for a Europa league spot

The Black Cats have reinvested heavily this summer in new signings and i think there is a certain expectancy around the stadium of light of light to qualify for Europe and i Don't think they have enough depth in there squad to qualify but there Certainly will be in the top half come the end of the season

Newcastle United reinvesting the money from the sale of Andy Carroll Very wisely. with the Additions of experienced midfielders Yohan cabaye Sylvan Marveaux  as well as premier league proven striker Demba Ba. With one more world class striking addition i think the magpies could become real Europa league contenders.

Transfer Time!

We are only 18 days into the transfer window and already 147 million pounds has been spent on transfers in England. In this particular blog i will be going into detail about the speculation that surrounds Luka Modric,Carlos Tevez,Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Corinthians have said no deal has been agreed for Tevez.Responding to claims made by Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini  that a deal had been agreed it's been reported that Man City want the 39 million to be paid in 2 installments and that Corinthians offered to pay the fee in 4 installments which really does make me wonder can Corinthians afford Tevez wage demands and the transfer fee or will Tevez have to make wage cuts to be with his family? Discussions have only just started but no matter what happens i don't think that Tevez will be in a Manchester city shirt come the start of the season.

Chelsea have had an offer of 27 million for Luka Modric turned down. Luka Modric has handed in an official transfer request and this really irritates me because you have a quality player who six months ago signed a long term contract and suddenly when Chelsea say they are interested in him he becomes unhappy and wants to leave this irritates me because i believe that you should honor your contract especially if you only signed it 6 months ago.If i were spurs i would cash in because no player is irreplaceable and it's not very good for team morale if a player who is playing in your team does not want to be there.

In my opinion Arsene Wenger has to risk keeping Nasri.Arsenal with a few more signings definitely have a change at being a dark horse in the title race.Same story Fabregas wants to go home and i think this season Arsenal will cash in on him and their are two reasons why i think they will. 1. He could of played better last season and 2.They don't want to lose him on a free when his contract runs out.
